Before you begin, prepare all the materials you will need:

• A container of water to rinse your brushes.
• Brushes of different sizes: angled brushes for greater precision, flat brushes for filling in areas, and very fine brushes for details and textures, such as eyes.
• Tubes of paint in the colours of your choice, as well as black and white to lighten or darken the shades.
• A cloth or paper towels to wipe the brushes after rinsing.
• A pad of paper, a pencil and an eraser to sketch your design before painting.
  

Tips: lightly erase the pencil lines before applying the paint to prevent them from showing through under the less opaque colours.

Using the pencil and eraser, draw your sketch on the sheet of paper. This will serve as a guide for applying the colours.

Choose a first colour and apply it evenly across your sheet, avoiding placing two areas of the same shade side by side. Repeat the process with the other colours, distributing them dynamically.

Tips: allow each coat to dry thoroughly before applying the next to prevent the colours from mixing unintentionally.

• Pink: mix red with white. Adjust the amount of white depending on the desired intensity of pink.
• Purple: start with pink and add blue. To vary the shade, adjust the amount of blue or add a touch of white to lighten it. A touch of black can be used, but sparingly, as it quickly darkens the colour.
  

Tips: rinse your brushes thoroughly between each colour to avoid unwanted mixing and preserve the purity of the shades applied. Once you have followed all these steps, your artwork is ready.

Once the colours have been applied and the details refined, take a moment to admire your creation. If necessary, add a few touches to balance the contrasts or accentuate certain elements.
