Venetian Medium

Description

Increase your oil paint’s fluidity with our Venetian Medium. This full-bodied painting gel smooths strokes and makes paint easier to mould. Rapid drying with a satin finish, it’s made from beeswax, linseed oil and spike lavender. Ideal for alla prima, Impressionist half-paste techniques and superimposing layers. Dilute with 50% turpentine or odourless oil for sfumato finishes. Setting time: Less than 1 hour. Drying time: 2 days.

Impasto Painting

Painting in thickness means working on the density of the material using suitable mediums to obtain a relief.

To do this, you'll need a painting knife and an impasto medium, oil paint in the colour of your choice, and possibly Flemish medium. Mix the medium and paint with your knife to obtain the desired texture.
