Natural Spike Oil

Description

Thin your oils, paint washes and slow setting times with our Natural Spike Oil. Distilled from lavender, it’s great for glazes and preliminary sketches. Unlike other solvents, it promotes oxidation, helping you paint precise, transparent strokes. Slower setting than turpentine and mineral spirits, it’s powerful in small quantities and a good alternative to conventional solvents.

Impasto Painting

Painting in thickness means working on the density of the material using suitable mediums to obtain a relief.

To do this, you'll need a painting knife and an impasto medium, oil paint in the colour of your choice, and possibly Flemish medium. Mix the medium and paint with your knife to obtain the desired texture.
