WHAT IS BIOBASED?

Biobased Flashe is the result of long and valuable research into a formula that is more respectful of the environment, while retaining the unique characteristics of the Flashe range.

Biobased products are made from renewable biological sources rather than non-renewable sources such as fossil fuels. These products generally come from plants (maize, soya, sugar cane, for example), agricultural by-products, algae or food waste. So we had to work the Flashe binder to its quintessence, to make it 97% renewable and offer artists an alternative.

Tim Zdey's work is inspired by natural optical phenomena and the infinite palette offered by living things.

True to his values of respect and sharing, he chooses to create his works with products that have meaning and a story to tell.
