The Impressionist Collection: the gardens of Giverny
To mark the centenary of Claude Monet's death, Lefranc Bourgeois pays tribute to the Impressionist legacy with a collection of colors inspired by Water Lilies. To embody this link between past and present, painter Olivier Masmonteil was invited to set up his easel in Giverny, becoming the first artist to paint there since Monet.
EPISODE 1: THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE POND
The Impressionist Collection
Since 1720, Lefranc Bourgeois has supported artists by manufacturing colors and materials that have marked the history of art. The famous screw-top tube notably enabled Claude Monet to paint outdoors and give birth to Impressionism. Today, the Extra-Fine Oil range is expanding with two new sets inspired by Water Lilies to celebrate the centenary of Monet's death. One set consists of 12 20ml tubes and a smaller set of 5 20ml colors. Made in France, these exceptional colors offer high pigment concentration, excellent lightfastness, and optimal durability.
