Audrey Bertoia

Where heritage meets modernity 🪷
To mark the centenary of Claude Monet’s death, Lefranc Bourgeois has invited Audrey Bertoia to reinterpret the great master. She unveils “Les Songes”, a series characterised by vibrant colours and a poetic atmosphere.

Audrey Bertoia, a painter, draws inspiration from the world of Monet, where sensation takes precedence over detail. For her, painting is about translating what one feels when faced with nature, in that space between reality and emotion. This approach gave rise to her series ‘Les Songes’. Her paintings initially appear as vibrations of colour, then gradually allow forms to emerge, like memories. Inspired by the mountains and the ocean, between the Alps and Biarritz, she creates poetic and sensitive images, on the border between dream and reality.

The Impressionist Collection

Since 1720, Lefranc Bourgeois has supported artists by producing paints and materials that have left their mark on the history of art. In particular, the famous screw-top tube enabled Claude Monet to paint outdoors and gave rise to Impressionism. Today, the Huile Extra-fine range is expanded with two new sets, inspired by the Water Lilies, to mark the centenary of Monet’s death. One set comprises 12 x 20ml tubes, whilst the other is a smaller set of 5 x 20ml colours. Manufactured in France, these exceptional colours offer high pigment concentration, excellent lightfastness and optimal durability.
