STEP 1 — FROM LIGHT TO DARK COLOURS
Start with Sky Blue to fill in the largest area of the illustration, mixing it with white. Repeat the same process with yellow and white, then pink and white, to paint the building façades.
STEP 2 — BLUE
Next, use blue straight from the tube to outline the windows and paint the rooftops, road and railings.
STEP 3 — GREEN
For the green areas, start with the darkest shade to paint the trees in the background. Then gradually lighten the mixture by adding white.
STEP 4 — PINK
Create a mid-tone pink by mixing the colour with a little white. This will add more depth and variation to your composition.
STEP 5 — ORANGE
Create an orange-vermilion by mixing red with a little yellow. Use it to paint the café and shop awnings, as well as the tree trunks. Then add a little white to the same mixture to create a lighter shade for the Eiffel Tower.
STEP 6 — THE RESULT
And there you have it! You dared to paint! Take a moment to admire your composition, with its bold colours and flat, matt areas of colour.
