Painting in thickness means working on the density of the material using suitable mediums to obtain a relief.

To do this, you'll need a painting knife and an impasto medium, oil paint in the colour of your choice, and possibly Flemish medium. Mix the medium and paint with your knife to obtain the texture you're looking for.

To protect your work once it has set, apply our Lefranc Bourgeois gloss varnish.
