From Theatre to Canvas
In 1954, Lefranc Bourgeois developed Flashe—the first vinyl paint and a true alternative to traditional art materials. Originally created for theater and opera sets, it quickly became iconic among renowned artists such as Vasarely and Niki de Saint Phalle, thanks to its intense pigments, matte finish, and exceptional coverage.
Agnès Cecile uses Lefranc Bourgeois Flashe to bring her interpretation of spring to life. With its unique matte texture, this paint allows her to build up fine layers and create soft, seamless color transitions.
For her blooming cherry tree, she chooses vibrant, luminous shades—like lagoon blue, ivory, and her own signature Sakura Pink—bringing brilliance and depth to the piece.
